These include navigating the web to collect pertinent data with regard to the subject matter, the use of cardiovascular machines, the use of a scale to measure current weight and body fat, and the use of a digital camera, to capture their progress as they move forward. Together, they will navigate the web to gather information that will later help them develop a diet plan that is healthy and nutritious. Finally, in collaboration with each of their assigned group, students will design a diet and exercise plan that they feel will work best for them. Design a complete Diet Analysis that incorporates dieting, exercise, discipline and education on how to develop healthy habits and motivate themselves to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

At the end of this project, students will have acquired the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to lead a healthy, active lifestyle that will not only prolong their lives, but also improve significantly the quality of their lives.

This session also gives us the opportunity to do some brainstorming; together we can create a chart, where students can share their ideas, by listing on one section of the chart what they feel they already know and on the other hand, what they hope to learn or would like to learn more about.
