Although, at times throughout the book I found it to be very sad and depressing. Even though the book was just another way for Morrie's teachings and aphorisms to continue on, I think certain parts dealing with his ALS were really depressing.

The book also teaches a lot of useful life lessons. The lessons that Morrie taught Mitch can be used in probably every one of our lives, that is a reason why I liked this book so well. There were so many lessons that could be learned from this.

I also think this book made me think about how much I have, and how grateful I am to not have one of my relatives go through a disease like ALS.

I think it'd be hard for Morrie's family to see him in that condition, but what also made it easier was that Morrie was so closely connected with his family. It did show me how grateful I should be and it taught me a lot about family. I think she did a great job explaining this book.

It has taught me about life and death. Death of course is scary. Almost everyone is afraid of it. Before I had read this book I really was scared of death. I didn't want to talk about it cause it made me really uncomfortable.

After reading this book I feel like talking about it is the better way to deal with it. It has also taught me to go for things that I really like cause you never know when you are going to die.
